But, after a minute, you saw that you were in between the area where the tires would run. Even though you were small, those tires could easily smash you. At first your heart began to beat quickly.

You looked around, and saw a large truck approaching from your right. About halfway across the driveway, you felt the ground shake. You walked slowly across the sand, between the rocks that were only a little smaller than you. It was a sunny day, and at your size you were particularly vulnerable to the temperatures. Luckily your shoes shrank down with you, as well as the rest of your clothes, so you wouldn't have to feel the excessive heat coming from the ground. "How small will I get? How vulnerable will I be to other small animals? How long will this last? What's even causing this?" Then one thought passed suddenly, and it made you very excited. You began to feel excited, but still worried about what was going to happen. Thoughts began to race through your mind upon realization. Unless the car was sliding away somehow, which seemed to be more logical than what was really happening, you were really shrinking. But no, you were.shrinking? You looked down, and saw the ground getting closer, but you were still leaning against the car. At first, it seemed as though you were falling in slow motion, and the handle was getting further away as your body reached the ground.

But as your hand reached the handle, you realized that it was rising up. You put your hand on your car, trying to open the door to expose the seat. What this was, you hadn't the foggiest, but it rendered your ability to stand up right without assistance. Right before you got in your car, however, you began to get a strange feeling in your gut. You parked the skid steer in the barn, and got ready to leave. On one moderate day, you dropped the last of the hay into the bunk, crossing out the last chore on the list of things you had to do that day.
